NC CPS Update/Refresher Class

Registration

Eligible Participants:

Current Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians and Technician Instructors.

Registration Fee:

There is no registration fee for attending North Carolina Update/refresher classes, but registration is required. Registration and verification of participants' eligibility to attend are required for the Update/Refresher classes.

Maximum numbers of students may be set for individual classes.

Registration Process:

Registrations must be completed online through the buckleupnc.org website.* Registration includes the following steps:

1. Go to the online registration form - link provided below - and enter all required information into the class registration form.
2. Select the class that you are registering for. If the class you want to attend is full, you may ask to be added to the waiting list or register for another class. Persons on the waiting list will be notified of openings in classes as the become available and will be contacted in the order received.
3. Please be sure to review the information entered into the registration form for completeness and accuracy and then click on the "Submit" button when ready.
4. This will take you to a "Pre-Registration Confirmation" page. You must click on the link on this page to open and print your pre-registration confirmation form. Please be sure to save a copy as a Word or other text document.
5. You will receive a "registration is complete" confirmation email when your eligibility to attend and registration information is confirmed. A valid email address is required for automatic registration confirmation.
6. Persons who will be unable to attend a class he/she is registered for must contact the NC CPS Resource Center 800-672-4527 or 919-962-2202 prior to the class to cancel.
7. PERSONS WHO FAIL TO CANCEL A REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE OF A CLASS AND FAIL TO SHOW FOR THE CLASS MAY JEOPARDIZE THEIR CHANCES OF BEING ABLE TO REGISTER FOR FUTURE CLASSES.

*Individuals without internet access or who are experiencing problems registering online may be able to register via mail. Contact the NC CPS Resource Center 800-672-4527 or 919-962-2202 for information.
