Registration

Registration Fee:

Attendees will be responsible for paying registration fees based on the following schedule:

• $75: In-State Early Registration - Postmarked on or before January 31, 2008
• $100: In-State Late Registration - Postmarked on or after February 1, 2008
• $125: Out-of-State

Additional information, including the mailing address for registration fees, will be provided upon registering.

Refunds of registration fees can be made for cancellations made through February 29, 2008. REFUNDS CAN NOT BE MADE FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE MARCH 1st OR LATER.

Registration Deadline:

Registrations and registration fees must be received by Friday March 7, 2008. On-site registrations will not be accepted without prior approval.

Registration Process:

Registrations must be completed online through the buckleupnc.org website.* Registration includes the following steps:

1. Go to the online registration form - link provided below - and enter all required information into the conference registration form.
2. Please be sure to review the information entered into the registration form for completeness and accuracy and then click on the "Submit" button when ready.
3. This will take you to a "Registration Waiting List Confirmation" page. You must click on the link on this page to open and print your waiting list registration confirmation form. Please be sure to save a copy as a Word or other text document.
4. Do not mail in the waiting list registration confirmation and registration fee until you are notified that a space has opened up. Arrangements for payment of the registration fee will be made at that time.
5. You will receive a "registration is complete" confirmation email when your eligibility to attend and registration information is confirmed and registration fee is received. A valid email address is required for automatic registration confirmation.

*Individuals without internet access or who are experiencing problems registering online may be able to register via mail. Contact Allison Cummings, NC DOI OSFM, at 800-634-7854 x314 for information.

Presentation and Awards Applications
The NC CPS Training Committee is accepting proposals for educational presentations at the 2008 NC CPS Conference. We invite you to share your knowledge with your peers in the field of child passenger safety as a presenter at the conference. Complementary conference registration will be offered to speakers. Presentation applications and materials must be received by the committee by January 14, 2008 in order to be considered inclusion on this year's Conference agenda. Presentation applications must be submitted using the Presentation Application form (download link follows below).

The North Carolina Child Passenger Safety Training Committee is also accepting nominations in recognition of outstanding CPS contributions. Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:

• Child Passenger Safety Technician of the Year
• Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor of the Year
• Child Passenger Safety Advocate of the Year
• Child Passenger Safety Program of the Year
• Known CPS Saves

Nominations must be received by the committee by January 14, 2008 in order to be considered for recognition and must be submitted using the Awards Nomination form (download link follows below).
