Eligible Participants:
Current Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians
and Technician Instructors.
Registration will be limited to 200 participants. (Limits may be placed on number of attendees per agency if demand warrants.

Thursday March 13 - Friday March 14, 2008
Also, mark your calendars for the 2009 Conference to be held Thursday and Friday March 12-13, 2009.

Participants are responsible for payment for sleeping rooms.
The conference room rate is $63.75 (+tax), single or double, for all attendees. Oceanfront rooms will also be available at $89 (+tax) and oceanfront suites will be available for $129 (+tax). The group code for the Conference rate is "Child Passenger Safety."
IMPORTANT NOTE: A block of rooms will be set aside for the CPS Conference and rooms will be available at these rates on a first come basis until February 10, 2008. Remaining rooms will be released and rates may go up after the February 10, 2008 cut-off date.
Registration Fee:
Attendees will be responsible for paying registration fees based on the following schedule:
- $75: In-State Early Registration - Postmarked on or before January 31, 2008
- $100: In-State Late Registration - Postmarked on or after February 1, 2008
- $125: Out-of-State
Additional information, including the mailing address for registration fees, will be provided upon registering.
Refunds of registration fees can be made for cancellations made through February 29, 2008. REFUNDS CAN NOT BE MADE FOR CANCELLATIONS MARCH 1st OR LATER.
Participants will be responsible for payment for sleeping rooms if needed.
Registration Process and Deadline:
Registrations must be completed online on the buckleupnc.org website through the Conference Registration page.* A "Pre-Registration Confirmation" or "Waiting List Confirmation" page will open after information has been entered into the the registration form and the "Submit" button is clicked.
A copy of the the pre-registration confirmation must be mailed, along with the registration fee made payable to Safe Kids NC, to the address provided on the form. Registrations and registration fees must be received by Friday March 7, 2008. On-site registrations will not be accepted without prior approval.
*Individuals without internet access or who are experiencing problems registering online may be able to register via mail. Contact Allison Cummings, NC DOI OSFM, at 800-634-7854 x314 for information.
