CPS Check Up Events for Skills Signoffs and Technician Proxy Mentoring:
Safe Kids North Carolina is sponsoring two child safety seat check-up events in Wake County on Monday March 5th - prior to the 2012 NC CPS Conference - to provide currently certified technicians with an opportunity to complete some or all of their required skills sign-offs needed for recertification. In addition, Instructors will be available to assist experienced technicians who are interested in applying to be a Technician Proxy. For more information on becoming a Technician Proxy, refer to the Safe Kids CPS Certification Technician Proxy information on the certification website.
This opportunity is open to anyone, regardless of conference attendance. However, space is limited and is available on a first come first serve basis. Confirmation emails will be sent the week of February 19 and will include assigned event locations and time slots as well as other relevant information.
Two shifts (11am - 2pm and 2pm - 5pm shifts) are planned at each event and Techs should plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to a shift and to stay at least 30 minutes past the end of the shift.
Contact Allan Buchanan with questions about this event.
