Invitation to Apply for NC CPS Training Committee Membership

The North Carolina Child Passenger Safety Training Committee is pleased to announce that the membership application period for positions on the Committee is now open.

Applications for Training Committee membership are being sought for the following categories:

• Fire Services
• Emergency Medical Services
• Public Health/Hospital
• Advocates

Terms for open positions begin October 1, 2008.

All interested and eligible persons are invited to apply. Applicants may apply for more than one position, but must submit an application for each position. Applicants are selected to represent only one category.

Applicants who will be representing an organization and who will be participating in Committee activities while “on-duty” or who will have to be allowed to take time off by their employer must have the organization’s Executive Director or Chief Executive/Operating Officer (CEO/COO) sign the application form attesting he or she agrees to support and allow the applicant to fulfill the Committee Member responsibilities.

Complete applications must be received by 5:00 p.m., July 16, 2008
