Invitation to Apply for the NC CPS Training Committee

The North Carolina Child Passenger Safety Training Committee invites eligible CPS Instructors and Technicians to apply for open positions on the Committee. Applications for Training Committee membership are being sought for the following categories:

• Advocates
• Emergency Medical Services
• Fire Services
• Public Health/Hospital

Terms for open positions begin October 1, 2011.

All interested and eligible persons are invited to apply. Applicants may apply for more than one position, but must submit an application for each position. Applicants are selected to represent only one category.

The application form requires that applicants check "In what region do you primarily work?" This refers to NC Department of Insurance, Office of State Fire Marshal Injury Prevention regions. Click here to view an Injury Prevention Regional map.

Applicants who will be representing an organization and who will be participating in Committee activities while “on-duty” or who will have to be allowed to take time off by their employer must have the organization’s Director, Executive Director, Chief, or Chief Executive/Operating Officer (CEO/COO) sign the application form attesting he or she agrees to support and allow the applicant to fulfill the Committee Member responsibilities.

Complete applications must be received by 5:00 p.m., July 29, 2011
